Delivering education continuity under pressure 🏫

Following a major flood at St Paul’s Way Primary School in London, 120 pupils faced the prospect of not returning to their classrooms for the new academic year.

With just 27 days to deliver a solution on a highly constrained inner-city site, Pickerings installed an 18-bay, two-storey modular building providing:

✔️ 4 classrooms
✔️ 5 offices
✔️ Fully accessible facilities

Through detailed planning, offsite manufacture, and just-in-time delivery, the project was completed without compromising on quality, safety, or compliance.

This project demonstrates how Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) can help education providers respond quickly to unexpected challenges while maintaining exceptional learning environments.
