Fault attended this week- lighting circuit tripping repeatedly!

I've seen plenty of rat and mouse damage, but this is my first time seeing squirrel damage!

Starbucks again?

After the last visit where I found an issue with the incoming supply, Northern Power's guys have been out and done a bit of digging! Cable buried under the drive through has a fault.

Power back on inside though ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Today's callout - Caenby Corner Starbucks. Circuits tripping intermittently all over!

Turned out to be a problem for Northern Power - massive voltage fluctuations on the supply, good job I had a decent range of test equipment!

Just as the school holidays start, I'm heading back to school!

Bit of Continuing Professional Development, keeping ahead of legislation changes - from October this year, this qualification will be necessary for any electrician carrying out an EICR!

Recent bit of something different- replacing motor units in Velux windows. Had to borrow oven gloves from the customer for this one as the crazy weather we've been having had got the glass absolutely burning hot! 🔥
