Fridays are for networking. βπ€
Every Friday morning you'll find me at BNI Rutland, sitting round a table with a group of local business owners who genuinely want to see each other succeed. Early start, strong coffee and a room full of people looking out for one another.
Yesterday was a bit special. I was presented with my 5 Diamond Master Connector pin for inviting 25 visitors to our chapter.
For anyone not familiar with BNI, the Master Connector pin recognises members who bring new people into the room. Every diamond represents five visitors invited, so five diamonds means 25 business owners who've come along, sat at our table and seen what BNI Rutland is all about. It isn't a sales award. It's about growing the network, because the more good people in the room, the more every member benefits.
I'll be honest, BNI has been one of the best decisions I've made for Story Electrical. It's brought us quality referrals from people who trust us, introduced me to business owners I now count as friends, and kept me sharp on how I talk about what we do. In a trade where reputation is everything, being recommended by someone who knows your work is worth more than any advert.
If you run a business in Rutland, Stamford or Peterborough and you've never seen a BNI meeting, come and be visitor number 26. Drop me a message and I'll save you a seat. β‘
We power you, one connection at a time.
