Happy New Year! 🥳 🤩

If you’re wondering what to do with your Christmas tree, and want a nice cold Sunday morning outing, pop down to Margate RNLI tomorrow morning where we are chipping them to raise money.

There is no set charge, but donations to the RNLI to support the fantastic work they do are welcome 🥰

We love helping out at the The Garden Gate Project. Here is James re-pollarding a Willow tree, and giving the Gardeners a huge pile of Willow to weave. All of the branches from our work stay in the garden, and it's great to see what they're all used for by the gardeners-they are a creative bunch!! 😃

A huge thank you to Top Branch for all your hard work yet again. Every year you offer your services for free, helping us keep the garden looking tip top! Branch.

🛟Come down to Margate Lifeboat Station and dispose of your tree. All we ask for is a small donation to help us continue our goal of saving lives at sea; around Thanet and beyond.

Job opportunity: Hedge trimming operative.

With our ever increasing workload, we are looking for another member of staff to join our small team.

You will need to:

-Like working outdoors (in all conditions).
-Have a keen eye for detail, taking pride in the finish of your work.
-Have good time management skills (also good at using alarm clock)
-Have good communication skills both with customers and colleagues.
-Have a positive attitude, particularly useful on the rainy days!

Previous hedge trimming experience would be useful, but not strictly necessary. We can provide all training required.

If you would like to come along for a paid trial day, send Joe a text or WhatsApp on 07715895054 so that we can see if you would be a good fit.

This year we are teaming up with RNLI Margate lifeboat to recycle your Christmas trees! 🎄🌲

Bring your tree down to Margate lifeboat station (CT9 1HG) on Sunday 8th January, between 0930 and 1200 where we will be processing the trees into woodchip. ♻️

There is no charge for the service, but any donation to the wonderful work the RNLI do, keeping us all safe at sea would be appreciated. ⚓️⛵️🚢

Please remember to remove the decorations before you bring it down.

Happy new year to you all, and hope to see you on the 8th! 🥰
