Out with the old, in with the new! 🚰

Old kitchen tap was defective and dripping, so I replaced it with a new one. While I was at it, I also fitted new isolation valves and used a 15mm–½" coupling to avoid cutting into the existing rubber before the flexi hoses.

A nice little upgrade and a much better setup. 👌

I’ve now got limited availability with a few quotes pending. My next availability for smaller jobs is End-September, and after that I’ll be looking to start filling the diary for the following months.

Something a little different on this kitchen splashback in Broadstairs.

These 10x20 metro tiles have been installed vertically in a stacked pattern rather than the traditional brick bond, creating a clean contemporary look that really suits the space.

It's not a layout I get asked to do very often, but I love how it turned out.

The client messaged afterwards to say they were "fantastic" and were really pleased with the finished result.

Attention to detail is everything on splashbacks, from perfectly aligned grout joints to neat cuts around sockets and worktops.

🔥 Kitchen Splashback Transformation 🔥

Just finished installing these stunning 7.5 × 25cm porcelain gloss, handmade rustic-effect tiles as a kitchen splashback across two separate walls — one behind the hob and the other along the window wall.

The gloss finish catches the light beautifully, while the handmade rustic texture adds real character and depth. Using this long brick format across both areas ties the kitchen together without it feeling overdone.

This one involved plenty of detailed trim work around the edges and window reveal to keep everything sharp, balanced, and flowing cleanly across both walls. Proper attention to detail from start to finish.
