Well safe to say the call out i had today was little emotional, was called out to a boiler breakdown, no hot water, I arrived at the property the elderly lady opened the door , she looked so upset , I said are you ok , her partner has m.s., and was bed bound and she was having to feed him and look after him , broke me as my mum has that condition, seeing that was really upsetting, but I got on with sorting the hot water issue, was only a diverter motor that had gone , which I keep on the van , bless her she asked for an invoice, I said there will not be an invoice this is on me I could NOT bring myself to charge her for the job , dont get me wrong I love my job and yes have to earn a living but sometimes a act of kindness is worth so much more in this case, I said you take care and cherish the moments that you have left , so yes emotional 😢 call out .
