How many times do we question our life choices on a job? 😂

Yes, it’s unconventional — but we were on site, with the roof and space we had to work around. Sometimes you have to deal with what’s actually in front of you, not the ideal setup people might expect to see.

We took our time and worked carefully to avoid damage to the property and ourselves. It might not look pretty, but that’s real life as a window fitter. You’d never know the struggle from the finished job.

The Dewalt cordless chop saw and stand have been a revelation for jobs like this 🙌

Being able to set up outside, measure and cut long lengths properly makes life a lot easier on site.

How we found it… and how we left it 👊

The original doors were too wide, so we reduced the width and added side panels with openers. That gives the customer more manageable doors and extra options for ventilation.

The finish around the doors matters too. We took the time to prepare the opening, fit everything properly and leave it neat and tidy.
