We are delighted to announce that Rose Builders has been named a finalist in the Armed Forces Network / Allies of the Year category at the Building Heroes Fundraising Gala Dinner & Awards 2026.

The Building Heroes Awards celebrate the individuals, employers, partners and organisations making a genuine difference to the Armed Forces community, supporting Service Leavers, Veterans, Reservists and Military Family Members as they transition into civilian careers and build brighter futures.

For the past eight years, Rose Builders has proudly supported Building Heroes and its work helping veterans and Service Leavers take their next steps into the construction industry.

From welcoming learners into our team to supporting graduations and hosting site visits, we have seen first-hand the life-changing impact of the programme. We are incredibly proud to play a part in these success stories and honoured to have our longstanding commitment recognised.

🏡 Maypole Close, Complete!

Rose Builders are delighted to announce the successful completion and handover of Maypole Close, located off Old Norwich Road in Ipswich, delivered in partnership with Orwell Housing Association.

The development has transformed a brownfield site into 11 high-quality affordable homes, comprising a mix of two and three-bedroom houses and bungalows, providing much-needed housing for the local community.

Kieran Bleasby BSc (Hons), Orwell’s Development Project Officer, has overseen the scheme from its earliest stages through to completion. Just six months ago, our team was installing underfloor heating; today, the development is ready to welcome its new residents.

Kieran commented:
“This has been a fantastic development to be involved with from start to finish. The quality of the completed properties is a testament to Rose Builders and reflects the high standards we strive to achieve on every scheme we deliver.”

Congratulations to Coggeshall Town Cricket Club, winners of the Rose Bowl at this year’s Mistley Cricket Club Week!

The annual T10 challenge brought together four Essex clubs, all battling it out for the coveted trophy:

💪 Guns N’ Rose 🌹Small Beach. Big Muscles. Huge Community Spirit!

Who needs a huge beach when Manningtree’s little stretch of sand can deliver this much fun? 🌊☀️
The Rose team had a brilliant time taking part in the annual Manningtree Regatta Tug of War Challenge on the River Stour. There was plenty of pulling, cheering, friendly rivalry, and perhaps a few aching muscles the following morning! 💪😂
It may be a tiny beach, but it has a huge community spirit. What a fantastic day, bringing everyone together for some good, old-fashioned fun.

A special thank you to our local Fire and Rescue Service for providing the showers afterwards, although the water pressure was certainly a little stronger than we’re used to! 🚒💦😂
Rose is incredibly proud to support this wonderful local event. Thank you to the organisers, spectators and everyone who took part, we’re already in training for next year! 🪢🏆🌹
