A polite message from the team at DJ Roofing Manchester Ltd.
We would like to ask customers to please remember how much time and effort goes into preparing a quotation.
Our roofers are usually out working from around 7am until 7pm. After finishing on site, we then travel to inspect and measure potential jobs before returning home to prepare detailed written quotations. Depending on the work involved, each quotation can take anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours—and some may need to be completed over a couple of evenings.
This is time taken away from our families to ensure every customer receives an accurate and professional quotation.
We completely understand that customers may choose another company, decide not to proceed or simply need more time to think. There are absolutely no hard feelings. However, after we have visited the property and spent time preparing the quotation, receiving no response at all can be extremely disheartening.
Even a simple message saying, “Thank you for the quotation, but we won’t be proceeding,” would be genuinely appreciated. It only takes a few seconds, lets us know the quotation has been received and allows us to close the enquiry without having to follow it up.
Please remember that behind every small family-run business are real people giving up their evenings and family time to provide this service.
