Today marks a very special day for Atom Electrical NW LTD, today marks exactly one year since it all began!

Going from a sole trader to a limited company, VAT registered and hiring our first full time employee with van number 2 on the road within the space of a year hasn’t been easy.

There has been a lot of stress and sleepless nights worrying about when the next job will come in, or when the next payment will land.

But I haven’t for one second regretted taking the leap, and will continue to keep pushing forward!

And I would like to say a massive thankyou to all of our clients past and present, without your business we wouldn’t be in the position we’re in today!

So, let’s continue with business as usual, 12 hour days followed by evenings of admin/certificates. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Busy busy busy!!

The past few months have been organised chaos to say the least.

16 Rewires, 21 mains board upgrades and 100+ call-outs attended and rectified. With a load of EICR’s and refurbs thrown in just for good measure!

A few more weeks of chaos before a well deserved break and a reset for the A team 🏖️

⚡️Atom Electrical NW ⚡️

This one started out from a customer calling asking for an additional socket in a kitchen cupboard. (Previously had a handyman fit one which stopped working)

It had stopped working due to the handyman using the wrong cable size for the new socket which had melted.

The plot then thickened 😅

It took 3 circuits to be switched off to isolate that one socket.

The Ring circuit was connected across 2 separate MCB’s, a loose connection causing arcing which had overtime burnt and melted its way into the cooker supply cable.

Then to cap it all off the main earth was loose and had likely been like this for years 😬😬

All now rectified and the system left safe and in good working order but left untouched this could have been disastrous.
