Traditional lime plastering for solid stone walls in and around Lancashire.

Breathaplasta Breathable Plaster System

This project was completed using the Breathaplasta breathable plaster system. The system consists of a thermally insulating base coat finished with a fine skim coat.
Unlike traditional gypsum plasters, the system is lime-based and vapour permeable, allowing moisture to move naturally through the wall structure while improving thermal performance.

We can offer this system that slashes the cost of traditional lime plastering which is extremely expensive and time consuming. Usually taking weeks to cure.
We can get this done in days rather than weeks.

So this is an example of poor preparation.
If the substrate isn’t properly primed to accept the plaster then this is what you get after maybe a few months. Total delamination.
This is one of the worst I’ve seen where the skim coat has completely blown from the substrate.
Pay cheap pay twice.
Poor preparation = poor performance.
We always prepare for the best finish that will last for decades, not just a few months.
LD Plastering guarantees quality, longevity and a finish that speaks for itself.

Little tidy up job on a very distressed garden wall over in Accrington.
The customer just wanted this wall sorting out so she could paint it.
2 coats of sand and cement render and mesh. All done in the day👍

Another happy customer, just a very small skimming job over in Darwen.
2 small walls in and out in half a day and the room left as we found it. Zero mess. 👍
