So I think it's time to give this a little push. I've been working with some amazing ladies to launch a digital and in-person women's group. It's a judgement free, safe place for all women. If you'd like to know more you can message me, or the page, or email [email protected]
We're already planning to attend a Rebel Women's walk, to create an allotment, to visit the John Ryland Library Suffragette exhibition, a couple of theatre trips and fingers crossed have our first in person social meeting 😅

It would be the one that needs to be turned around in a couple of hours because she's travelled. Not enough eye rolls for this today.

As wedding season 2025 gets to it's end my thoughts are moving to the cutting room renovations. Last years shop front reno was MASSIVE. This year it's more of a declutter and decorate. This is the inspo for the theme, which is coastal. Wait till you see the prints to go on the walls for this one 👏👏👏👏

A little update; Since the start of the season (March) I have had 161 wedding dresses and 23 sets of bridemaids (could be 1 could be 6😳)
An average of 130 *hours* per month.
Which would be beyond amazing, If 60 of those weren't in August 🤦🏻‍♀️with 245 hours of work 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
Anyway just 3 left before I can go holiday 😘 From Saturday I will be on a sewing diet for two weeks. I'm taking my yarn and books to the beach. And more importantly spending 2 weeks with the family.

There are many signs someone you know is a regular sewer. Unfortunately at this time of year mine are sore fingers, broken thumb nails and a tragically overdue manicure 😱.
And yep, the holes you see in my middle finger is caused by the needle deciding to go eye first into my finger not through the fabric. The solutions I've tried reduce my dexterity too much so I can't cope with them 🥴 maybe you know a magic tool or trick I've not found yet🙏
