Before. During. After.

A look at the transformation of Ring Automotive Ltd’s Leeds site, where we helped bring teams and facilities previously split across two buildings together under one roof.

The 16-week project included a new 5,100 sq ft mezzanine, the relocation of workshop and specialist testing facilities, and the refurbishment of the existing offices.

By moving storage upwards, we freed up valuable ground floor space for the new technical areas without reducing warehouse capacity.

The result is a site that works much better for Ring Automotive, with office, workshop, testing, storage and dispatch teams now working together from one building.

Instead, the project focused on maximising the potential of the existing facility.

By introducing a mezzanine floor and creating new office accommodation, the business gained valuable additional space while remaining within its current premises.

The project improved operational efficiency, created a better working environment and supported future growth without the disruption associated with moving.

It's a great example of how the right solution isn't always a bigger building.

A well-planned fit out improves operational efficiency, supports employee wellbeing, strengthens client perception and gets more out of the space you already occupy.

On the NIS project in Chorley, the refurbishment transformed both the office and industrial environments, creating a more effective workspace while maximising the value of the existing building. A new mezzanine floor increased usable space, while upgraded HVAC systems improved comfort and performance throughout the facility.

Improved workflows, better use of space and increased employee satisfaction often continue long after the project has finished.

Many businesses don't realise part of their fit out investment may qualify for tax relief.

When budgeting for a fit out project, most attention goes to the construction cost. The opportunity to maximise the tax relief available through capital allowances can sometimes be overlooked.

Items such as mechanical and electrical installations, lighting, security systems, data infrastructure and other qualifying elements can qualify for relief, improving the overall financial return on the investment.

The key is considering these opportunities early. Decisions made during design, procurement and project setup directly influence what can be claimed later.
