Walking Hadrian’s Wall for Northumberland’s Mountain Rescue & Great North Air Ambulance
In a few weeks, we’re lacing up our boots for a tough 84-mile walk along Hadrian’s Wall — coast to coast over 4 days across the wild beauty of Northumberland.
We’ll trek rugged crags, ancient Roman forts, and breathtaking views through Northumberland National Park, pushing our limits with early starts, steep hills, and plenty of blisters (and hopefully some laughs too!).
We’re doing it all to raise money for two incredible local life-savers:
• Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team – volunteer heroes who search for and rescue people lost or injured in the hills and moors, day or night.
• Great North Air Ambulance Service – the charity-funded helicopter team that delivers critical emergency care across the North East when every minute counts.
These teams work together to protect walkers, locals, and visitors in our beautiful but sometimes unforgiving landscape. By taking on this challenge, we want to give something back and help them keep doing their vital work.
Every step we take and every donation we receive will make a real difference.
Even a small gift of £5 or £10 would mean the world to us — and to the teams who are there when it matters most.
Thank you so much for your support. We’ll share photos and updates from the Wall!
