Transforming an unused garage into a self-contained garden annex.
Our returning clients wanted to unlock the full potential of their beautiful plot in Bold Heath.

A vaulted entrance core, split-level lounge opening onto the garden, a cosy kitchen/dining space, bright Velux-lit bedrooms, and a feature mezzanine with a porthole window all come together to create a warm, characterful annex that blends effortlessly with the original building.

This 20 m² garden room was designed to transform an unused corner of a family garden into a bright, modern, all-year-round space.

Clean white render, a bold aluminium surround and full-height bifold doors create a sleek contemporary feel, while the slimline picture window frames garden views beautifully. Perfect for relaxing, exercising or working from home - all just a few steps from the house.

We’re delighted to be working once again with Astro Blue Properties and AET Construction on their latest project — an exclusive five-bedroom new build dwelling located within the Hulme Hall / Swann Lane / Hill Top Avenue Conservation Area, Cheadle Hulme.
The project looks to revitalise a long-neglected plot - once home to a small Victorian dwelling - and restore its presence in keeping with the area’s rich architectural heritage.
Our role involves refining and developing the approved proposals to enhance internal flow, maximise light, and create a sense of modern family living that complements the Conservation Area setting.

✨ Roe Green Project: Victorian Home Transformation ✨

We worked with our clients to reimagine their Victorian property into a modern family home.

The project included:
🏡 A triple dormer loft conversion, creating a new master suite with walk-in wardrobe, en-suite, and woodland views.
🌿 A complete redesign of the front garden to provide parking for two vehicles.
☀️ A contemporary garden room to the rear, connecting the home to its green spaces.

The result is a home that respects its Victorian character while meeting the needs of modern family living.

PJH Architectural Services was thrilled to design a ground floor rear and side extension, along with basement renovations, for a Victorian semi-detached property in Sale, Trafford. Our clients, moving from Brighton to Manchester, envisioned transforming this spacious but outdated home into a modern family haven. They loved our blend of classic and contemporary aesthetics, giving us the freedom to create a light-filled, stylish, and functional space. From an innovative kitchen extension with Crittall-style glazing to a versatile, self-contained basement, our design reflects their lifestyle and sustainability goals. Transforming a cramped layout into a stunning, functional kitchen! 🌿✨
Working closely with our client, we turned a disconnected space into a beautiful open-plan area. By removing internal walls, adding bi-folding doors, and incorporating large roof lanterns, we brought natural light and balance to the kitchen and snug areas. The garage conversion provided a practical utility area and home office, blending seamlessly with the home’s original design.

Reflecting on a rewarding project! 🚚✨ We collaborated with Slate Developments on expanding a FedEx distribution center in Milton Keynes. Tasked with designing planning drawings for two new loading dock extensions, we added 11 HGV bays on the North and East sides, seamlessly blending with the existing structure using composite cladding panels and a sleek mono-pitched roof supported by a robust steel portal frame. Our detailed plans, based on initial concepts from Slate Developments, secured Local Authority approvals and ensured precise tender documentation, giving FedEx cost certainty from the start. Proud to have been part of this successful project! 🏗️✨
