Further to a previous post on simple things 🙈overlooked 🙈that turn out to be much worse.😭😭

Initial problem was toilet not flushing properly . This should have been a straight forward job .☹️☹️

What it took was the total removal of toilet🚽. Fixing bolts and screws corroded made that a challenge.. Then had to use a grinder to cut bolts to release cistern. Then peel cistern from the toilet itself ,as a hefty and liberal use of silicone had been used in the poor,original installation..

The pictures show the initial fault and then the corrosion presented. Then the new parts with correct seal.👍👍

Another costly problem avoided. 👍👍

🎄Christmas🎄 is fast approaching with many parties🎉. Toilets🚽🚽 will be used much more than usual and you definitely don't want to get caught short!!😬😬

Often it's the simple things.😏

On something we use everyday..🚽🚽🚽

You see a damp spot or dampness but dismiss it ,as it's in the bathroom or ensuite...

This is what happened here..damp spots,stains in toilet,not flushing properly..👀👀

Three toilets all needing rebuilding as all had heavy corrosion,washers and seals were all failing.. One toilets had to be isolated by the client,in Atherton Atherton Residents Association as it had failed and caused further damage..😭😭

Pictures show one of the toilets as found, to how they looked on leaving.. Representative of all the toilets in the property ..

With 🎄CHRISTMAS 🎄fast approaching and toilets getting heavy use with festive parties🍷 don't get caught short..

A job we did when the heatwave,in Atherton,was in full effect!

We had to completely remove an old baxi back boiler/ fire and the rest of the heating system. Due to it being very old ,untouched and corroded beyond repair. Needless to say inefficient and high running costs!

In its place we install a completely new heating system. Intergas eco RF which together with the magnetic filter has a 12yr warranty. Brand new pipe throughout and new radiators and the latest controls. This gives low running costs and a proper comfort level.
