The large opening for the feature glazing is formed and the new roof is up.

Glazing, windows and doors scheduled to be installed next week and hopefully scaffolding will be taken down to reveal the full elevation 👀

Transforming a derelict site into a new residential landmark for Ashton.

Our latest mixed-use scheme will replace the former Shubar building with 38 high-spec apartments, landscaped rooftop gardens and new ground-floor commercial units.

Designed to bring new homes, activity and long-term value back into the town centre.

We’ve been working up a new concept for the Phase 1 refurbishment of the historic Clarence Arcade in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Drenched in history, the former owner left the building derelict and sought to repurpose it for HMO accommodation. Luckily, our client has better sense — with ambitions to bring this incredible building back to life

Our scheme looks to revitalise the arcade around its original purpose — a marketplace for locals, by locals.

Across three floors, the proposals include around 60 affordable stalls for small, independent and local businesses — from vintage bookshops and traditional sweet shops to florists, makers and more.

Our design takes cues from the arcade’s heritage, we’re introducing traditional period shopfronts, signage and detailing, creating a marketplace that feels like it has always belonged within the building.
