☀️ LIGHTING IS EVERYTHING!

Here’s a great example of how much the appearance of a finished render can change depending on the light and the mood of the sky. The same property can look completely different throughout the day!

We’re showcasing one of our favourite colours here — K-Rend Silicone Champagne 💎 A beautiful finish that can almost appear as two different colours depending on the conditions, giving the property plenty of character.

Over the years, TEAM AEP has carried out extensive damp-related works for Malcolm & Jacquie, including a full external re-render of the property alongside internal damp works.

This is what we like to call our “belt and braces” approach — addressing the underlying issues properly rather than simply treating the symptoms. 🤩

A huge thank you to Malcolm & Jacquie for your continued loyalty and for choosing TEAM AEP once again. 🫡

🙌 Be sure to check out Jacquie’s review below!

We’ve still got plenty of projects to show you! 👀📸

Here’s a fine example of what we can do with your garden spaces — completely transforming the look, feel and condition of even the most challenging walls. 💪

With a polymer base coat, reinforcing mesh and a high-quality silicone coloured render system, we can take a tired, dull and lifeless space and turn it into something bright, clean and fresh. ✨

Finished in Polar White silicone coloured render, giving the walls a crisp, bright appearance with a clean textured finish — completely transforming the feel of the space. 🏡

It’s not just about making a wall look better — it’s about creating a garden space you actually want to spend time in.

Another transformation by Team AEP 💪

🏡 Fully Internal Plastering & External Rendering — Cottage Project 🏡

Another project completed by Team AEP 💪

After the original plasterers had started this project for Elliot and it became clear that the works were unfortunately beyond their capabilities, Team AEP were brought in to take over and put things right. 🦾

Following an initial inspection and our professional assessment, we recommended and carried out a comprehensive specification of works:

🔹 Fully internal plastering throughout the property, including thermal plasterboarding to all external-facing internal walls, helping to improve the property’s thermal performance and EPC rating.

🔹 Overboarding of the existing lath and plaster ceilings throughout, providing a strong and reliable new surface ready for finishing.

🔹 Breathable silicone coloured render system to the external walls.

🔹 Reinforcement mesh incorporated throughout the render system, increasing strength, durability and helping to provide a longer-lasting finish.

🎨 Final colour choice: K-Rend Silicone — Fintry Stone 🤩

The finished result gives this beautiful cottage a fresh, modern appearance while combining the aesthetics with improved performance and durability. 👌

We’ve got plenty more projects currently underway, with lots of updates and transformations coming your way — so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

🍂 AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED… AND I’M NOT COMPLAINING! 🍂

After one of the toughest summers I can remember in the trade, working 12–15 hour days through some seriously brutal heatwaves, I’m more than ready for a bit of cooler weather! 😂

We might not be completely out of the heat just yet, but for now… I’ll happily take it! 🙌

🔥 LATEST PROJECT COMPLETED 🔥

Another extension brought over the line for Mick Anwar Building Contractors, with a full K-Rend silicone rendering system installed by Team AEP.

And as always, we haven’t just done the bare minimum.

The system has been installed to an exceptionally high standard and, where possible, over specification — because we believe the difference is in the detail. 💪

🎨 Finished in K-Rend Silicone Champagne, this is another property one step closer to completion and another transformation we’re proud to put our name to.

🏠 THE FULL SYSTEM

☑️ Windows & doors fully protected
☑️ Polymer base coat applied
☑️ Full reinforcement mesh throughout
☑️ Additional reinforcement to all stress points
☑️ Silicone coloured top coat
☑️ All waste removed from site
☑️ Finished to our exacting standards

From preparation to the final finish, every stage matters.

The end result? A clean, modern finish that completely changes the look of the property while providing a durable, weather-resistant external finish. 👌

🔥 POV: Monday morning vs Friday afternoon… WHAT A DIFFERENCE! 🔥

A 4-bedroom home + full attic conversion looking completely derelict on Monday ➡️ looking like a HOME by Friday! 🏡🦾

1 week. 1 team. HUGE transformation. 💪

This week alone, we’ve installed over 185 sheets of 8x4 plasterboard 😮‍💨 — but that’s just part of what’s gone into this renovation.

We kicked things off with:

✅ Full primer/seal applied to every internal wall
💉 Damp-proof course injection around the entire ground-floor perimeter
💧 1m high breathable polymer render damp course
🔥 Thermal boarding to every external wall, helping improve heat retention and bringing the property up to modern standards
🏠 Full dry lining completed top to bottom, including the attic conversion
🔨 All preparation completed and ready for the plastering stage

And that’s just week one! 👀

By Friday, the difference is already massive — and next week we’ll be back to plaster the entire house throughout. 🙌

It’s projects like this that show exactly why Team AEP are trusted time and time again with our clients’ homes. 🫡
