They started their own garage conversion… but soon realised there was a lot more involved than they expected! 👀🧱
Our customers had already made a start, installing a skylight and a window, before deciding to bring in our team to complete the project.
Their vision was to create a spacious, open plan living area while still keeping some of their original garage storage. 🧩
And that’s exactly what we helped them achieve!
We completed the garage conversion, creating a lovely open plan feel, with a separate storage area at the front and a roller shutter for easy access. 🔑
Because converting your garage doesn’t have to mean losing somewhere to keep all your belongings!

📦 This is where it all began! The customers had big plans for their garage, but there was quite a bit of work to get through first.
👀 Looking at the original layout, you can see just how much potential there was to create additional living space.
🧱 The walls and ceiling are boarded, and the new room is starting to take shape. Such an important stage of the conversion!
💡 It’s all the work behind the finished walls that makes a garage conversion more involved than people might initially expect.
🔐 One thing the customers weren’t willing to give up was their storage! Keeping a roller shutter at the front meant they could still have a dedicated space for their belongings.
🗝️ A separate storage area at the front means there’s still somewhere for those everyday essentials, without taking up room inside the house.
📐 Creating that open plan feel was a big part of this project, helping the new space connect with the rest of the home.
