During 2026, the year of England Netball Centenary – the awards categories are a little different.

Soon we will be sharing the amazing volunteers who have been shortlisted in the new categories:

- Special Recognition
- Rising Star
- Outstanding Contribution
- Thriving Collective
- Richard Baxter Outstanding Contribution*
*Please note this is a North West specific award

In addition to this, we are looking to recognise our *LONG SERVICE VOLUNTEERS* who have served our netball community for *25 YEARS* or longer. This could include any combination of the following:

- A Coach
- An Official
- Tutor / Assessor
- County / Regional Board Member
- League Organiser / Committee member

North West netball – WE NEED YOU!

With only 4 weeks to go until the North West One Awards we want to make sure we celebrate YOU and the England Netball Centenary in full force!

We have a few special things planned for the evening (Find out what by booking your tickets here: www.ticketline.co.uk/the-one-awards).

But one thing we can’t do without our netball family is share PHOTOS of our netball journeys over the year.
To celebrate all things North West netball we are asking you to share your OLDEST NETBALL MEMORY in PHOTO FORM. Search through those memory boxes and dig out printed photos from back when we used to do that, newspaper clippings with your netball team and those icloud archives.

Whether you're coaching on a cold Tuesday evening, running the scorer's table, driving players to fixtures, or cheering from the sidelines, you are the heartbeat of our clubs and our community.
