We caught up with Lewis and the team yesterday on site in Audenshaw, where the lads are working on a new concrete patio.

There was just one slight issue… no access for the digger. 😅

So there was only one thing for it — the whole thing has been hand dug by the team. Shovels out and graft on. 🛠️

As Lewis says, “There are no problems, only solutions.” And that’s exactly how the team approach every job.

We’ll soon have this one wrapped up and another happy customer enjoying their new patio. 💚

What an upgrade 😍 Gatley, you’re looking good!

This one had plenty going on across both the front and back, but the finished result speaks for itself. 👌

Round the back we completed 8 steps, worked around 3 manholes and installed sleeper steps and retainers, finishing everything off in the Bondi Breeze resin blend.

Out front we had another 2 manholes, 2 steps, 2 KL kerbs and flower planters, while also working around the customer’s existing bollards as requested. The front was finished in Canyon Stone and what a difference it’s made. 🔥

Loads of little details on this one, all brought together for a proper transformation.

Now let’s head round the back… 👀💚

Another big part of our Heaton Moor transformation, and this one was all about creating a garden that actually works for the customer.

Our client is a childminder, so having a safe, clean and practical outdoor space for the kids to enjoy was a massive part of the brief.

The team have completely transformed the garden into somewhere that looks great, is easy to maintain and, most importantly, gives the kids plenty of space to play. 🙌

💚 MEET LEWIS

We’ve had plenty of new followers recently, so we thought it was about time we introduced the man behind L&R Surfacing.

Lewis is 34, from Wythenshawe and started L&R over six years ago.

From day one, he’s always had one simple belief: the way you treat your customers is just as important as the quality of the work you leave behind.

Six years later, the business has gone from strength to strength, the team has grown and the jobs have got bigger – but that mentality hasn’t changed.

Lewis has built a team he trusts, but you’ll still find him on site, every day checking progress, getting involved and making sure every job leaves with the standard L&R has built its reputation on.

And if you’re an L&R customer, there’s a good chance you’ll also know that a “quick chat with Lewis” is rarely a quick chat 😂

He’ll happily talk your ear off about resin, concrete, the job, the weather… pretty much anything.
