My Jasmine has become an actual superstar this year. The display this year, is hands down the best it's ever done. It's taken a few years for me to learn the plants needs and desires but now that it's established it helps to bring in an army of night time pollinators who call my garden their home over winter

BBC North West returned to Crown Street Primary School to visit our brand new roof top garden and to see what the children made of their new greenspace.

I am deeply grateful to have been asked to speak at RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show for a panel hosted by The Times because I met the wonderful team at who have since offered the school a £3k grant to further develop the garden.

As you can see, the children absolutely love exploring their new greenspace. I'm looking forward to working with the school over the next year or so to inbed the garden into the schools curriculum. If we want greener cities, we have to connect our young people to nature

Congratulations y'all! I've been keeping a secret! You are all aunties and uncles! The babies hatched and have been growing out in the green tank. They are getting bigger everyday and are looking super healthy 💚

My garden is fighting for it's life in the heatwave but one of my top tips for container gardens in summer is to make sure that you have mulched your pots. There are different ways to do it. Chop and drop to save money or you can use something like for a beautiful decorative finish
