Another one completed by the team last week over in the Chadderton area of Oldham 💫

The Torwood project 📈

The biggest most complex project we’ve ever undertaken as a company so far we met some serious challenges along the way and the end product seemed impossible at times but with hard work and focus we got there and what a turnaround it’s been. From day one we hit obstacles on this job the access was terrible the only way in was by taking the neighbours fence down to get the machine in. Then onto how we get the muck we dig away out of the garden and disposed of. There was nowhere to store the dirt while we dug out so we hired large electric conveyor belts to shift the muck into a dumper and drove it out of the guinell and onto the main road 2 weeks on the dig off alone 😅.
Next onto the retaining wall we needed to come up with the most cost effective way of retaining this massive hillside without compromising on stability so we opted for a double skin wall first layer was concrete block laid flat tied into a beige brick for the face work. Steps were then installed to get us from the bottom tier up into the middle. 🪜🧱
Then we hit the next obstacle being that if we were to bring the middle tier up to be level we’d be way above the neighbours fence and all privacy would be gone. The client didn’t want just a grass verge as before some came up with a plan tiered sleeper planters to incorporate in with the steps to get us up to the third and final tier and also utilising the space with some nice planting boxes.🌸

Onto the third and final tier we levelled off to create another seating area/patio area for our clients 😎
We opted for a Lakeland brown Indian sandstone patio for the patio area with matching infill for the steps and then finished off with matching sandstone for the top seating area 🔥
New fencing was installed on both sides of the garden using concrete posts and gravel boards finished off with a pressure treated v board panel. 🪵

I’m proud of us on this one the logistics behind it were crazy and I know most would of quit or never took it on in the first place 🥇

Another job we completed last week over in the Derker area of Oldham.

32 sqm of kandla grey Indian sandstone with charcoal block border installed with a natural grey brush in compound.🔥

The garden was in desperate need of a makeover and a modern touch so we came in nice and simple ripped out the old tired patio and in with the new sandstone the results speak for themselves in and out within 4 days. 💨

The hillside project 😮‍💨

Another project completed last week in the Grotton area of Oldham.

Full garden transformation completed by the team out with the old and in with the new 📐

We started by ripping out the old decking breaking out the old concrete pads walls and lawn area opening up a blank canvas for us to get to work with 🖌️

First we installed 8x4 timber sleepers to create the borders. Next in with the side fence to retain the new patio from the neighbouring side. Next in with the new retaining wall and steps ready for the new raised patio area to be installed. We worked our way out of the garden so we started by installing a new corner patio/ seating area using 600x900 off white porcelain tiles next into the artificial grass we opted for a 40mm Istanbul style on this one a nice thick soft grass perfect for the little ones to run wild. Finally we finished off the garden with a new raised patio area using the same tiles finished off with a jet black grout the results are 10/10 🔥.

The Greencroft Project 💫

Another one off the list ticked off by the lads over in the Royton area of Oldham.

Old tired decking ripped out and disposed of 8x4 timber sleepers installed to create a border and planter box finished off with a Lakeland brown Indian sandstone in and out in the week for phase 1 then the customer decided they wanted the paths continuing round both sides so we all jumped on yesterday and worked after work to get it tied off finishing just in time for the football.

The Bute project ✨

Another full garden transformation completed a couple of weeks back over in the newton heath area of Manchester.

Full rip out completed new mot sub base installed finished off with natural grey 600 x 900 porcelain tiles.

This was a 6 day turnaround dig off completed on the Saturday Monday we installed the sub base then 4 days on the tiling 65sqm total.

The Meads project 🐓

Another project over in Chadderton we completed last week kandla grey Indian sandstone with a natural grey grout 🔥

The client was tired of the old decking and the unusable area at the bottom of the garden so we came in ripped out the paving and got to work on making a usable space. We dug off the original grass area and installed a shed base using the old slabs with a greenhouse base using the same slabs in the opposite corner. 2 planter boxes installed and the rest finished off with fresh indian sandstone to match the top patio and the side area of the property. We will be returning later on in the year to complete the middle tier and remove the old decking finishing off the whole garden 😎

We completed the side fence and paving last year for our client we’ve now returned and completed the back fence and we will be back again for the 3rd and final phase wrapping the Indian stone from the side right round the back of the house to make a complete patio area just in time for the World Cup 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🤘🏼

The Grasmere Project 🪾

Nice quick little turn around over in the Royton area of Oldham last week 😎

Simple but very effective what a difference from before to after 🔥

We started by ripping out all the old sleepers,bushes,flags and boundary fence opening up a blank canvas to work with 📋

First we installed 3 bays of new fencing using concrete posts and gravel boards finished off with teek brown composite panels. Next we installed timber sleepers as a retainer for the area with some integrated steps up the side. For the final finish we opted for a 40mm deluxe artifical grass with some natural quartz grey porcelain tiles for the steps the results speak for themselves. 😍
