Absolutely honoured to have been awarded the Best of Manchester Neighbourhood Award for Gorton and Abbey Hey. Huge thanks to Vivienne Andrews for the nomination.

We’ve had a lovely evening in the Lord Mayor’s Chambers with a delicious afternoon tea.

We met some inspirational people and feel very special to have won out of over 900 nominees!

We absolutely love what we do, and certainly don’t do it for the recognition…it’s very nice though 🙂🏆

We had the best time exhibiting at Garstang Show and Bilsborrow Show but this week the hard work really starts as we organise our local show.
Gorton Horticultural Society’s 75th Annual Show is this weekend with entries being staged Friday evening and Saturday morning. The Show opens to the public on Sunday at 11am.
It’s loads of work but loads of fun…and there’s trophies up for grabs too.

The Peace Garden is just stunning atm. If you’ve not been to visit recently, where have you been? 😝
