🧱 Our first task on this job was to take down and rebuild a severely damaged ( wrongly built ) brick wall , also replace the heavy sail someone had screwed to it with a more light weight option !
Second Task was to completely grind out the listed barn conversion and repoint using lime mortar this is very important because traditional properties were built to breath and move ! The lime draws moisture out the brick and into the air. The more modern sand and cement will trap the moisture inside the old bricks causing them to rot !
Final task was to level up a big dip in the customers driveway which was completely unusable , so once the w**d membrane was down we put roughly 50 tons of hardcore rollered at layers with a nice Cotswold buff topping . 🧱
