🌿 Another Garden Transformation Complete! 🌿

What a difference 💪🌱

Our client wanted this area brought back under control while keeping the garden looking natural and tidy. Here’s what we completed:

✅ Removed overgrown bushes
✅ Lifted the tree canopy by removing lower branches
✅ Reduced the height and weight of the tree for a healthier shape
✅ Removed ivy from the fence to help prolong its life and prevent damage
✅ Thoroughly w**ded the area
✅ Cleared away all green waste, leaving the garden neat and manageable

After a little break away, followed by a bout of illness, we’re finally back doing what we love! 💚

The recent heatwave followed by all the wet weather has certainly made the gardens go wild! 🌱🌿

We’re kicking things off with a garden that had become completely overrun with w**ds and overgrowth – it’s amazing to see the transformation taking shape already! Still a lot to do in this garden but we love being here ☺️. We’re now onto another overgrown garden, and it’s really starting to take shape.

We’ve also got a few big projects coming up, and we can’t wait to get stuck in!

Another garden brought back under control today! 💪

Today’s work included:
✅ Taking weight out of the tree and giving it a careful trim
✅ Removing brambles and stinging nettles
✅ Full w**ding throughout the borders
✅ Trimming and shaping shrubs and hedges
✅ General tidy-up to leave the garden looking neat and manageable

It’s amazing what a difference a bit of hard work can make. The garden is now much tidier, healthier, and ready to enjoy! 🌳✨

A couple of weeks on… and what a difference! 🤩

We shared this before & after a couple of weeks ago, but now that everything has settled, the transformation really speaks for itself.

The decorative stone has had a good wash from the weather, bringing out the contrast between the crisp white and charcoal chippings, and the colours are really starting to pop! 👌

We’re not quite finished yet – next up is adding the finishing touches with some carefully chosen planting to soften the edges and complete the look. 🌿🌸

It’s always great to see a project evolve, and we can’t wait to share the final result!

🌿 Garden Tidy-Up Completed 🌿

A simple but effective garden refresh completed for one of our customers this week.

We carried out:

✅ Grass cutting
✅ Weeding throughout the garden
✅ General tidy-up of borders and garden areas
✅ Removal of green waste
✅ Leaving the garden looking fresh, neat and well-maintained

Sometimes a good tidy-up can make a huge difference to the appearance of a garden, creating a cleaner and more enjoyable outdoor space.

We’re looking forward to continuing work with this customer and helping them maintain their garden throughout the year.

Another garden transformation completed this week! 🌿

The existing lawn was very uneven, and the customers wanted a level, fresh lawn to improve both the appearance and usability of their garden.

To achieve this, we:

✅ Removed the existing lawn
✅ Carried out ground preparation and levelling works
✅ Added topsoil and levelling materials where required
✅ Excavated and prepared the area for the new edging
✅ Installed stone edging and bedded it securely in cement for a long-lasting finish
✅ Repositioned existing border stones
✅ Supplied and laid fresh new turf
✅ Removed all waste and left the garden clean and tidy

The new lawn is now level, fresh and ready to establish over the coming weeks, while the stone edging provides a neat and defined finish to the garden.

It has been a long few weeks for us at HarperOaks gardening but we have enjoyed every minute of it. The weather has been from one extreme to the other but we have managed to keep on schedule.
The past few weeks, we have carried out general garden maintenance work, including w**ding, grass cutting, flower bed care, hedge trimming, tree care, and ivy removal, helping bring gardens back under control and looking tidy again.

This week we’ve been working on a full garden transformation project—converting a grassed garden into a low-maintenance gravel garden with a new pathway running through it. The job has included all necessary groundwork, cementing, and brickwork to form the base and structure for the new design.

It’s still in progress, with planting and finishing touches to come, but it’s already starting to take shape and is looking really promising.

Looking forward to getting it completed and seeing the final result come together.

We also have a regular client whose garden has really flourished due to the recent extreme weather conditions. This has unfortunately led to rapid w**d growth, along with trees and shrubs becoming overgrown and unruly, meaning a full tidy-up, cut back, and re-shaping is now needed to bring everything back under control.

Next week, we’ll be moving onto another garden transformation project, which will involve full garden levelling and fresh turfing. The aim is to create a smooth, even finish and completely refresh the outdoor space with a clean, natural lawn.

🌿 Weekly Update from Our Gardening Business 🌿

We’ve had a busy and productive week working across a range of gardening projects and helping customers bring their outdoor spaces closer to their vision.

One of the highlights this week was plant sourcing and selection for a customer’s garden. We spent time visiting suppliers and carefully choosing plants suited to different areas of the garden — considering things like sunlight, soil type, maintenance levels, and overall design style. Our goal is always to help customers understand what will thrive where, and to create planting schemes that look great all year round with the right balance of colour, structure, and practicality.

We’ve also recently installed wire fencing for a client who was worried about her new puppy escaping the garden, helping to create a secure and safe space while still keeping the garden looking tidy and practical.

Alongside this, we’ve been out completing a variety of regular maintenance work including:

* Lawn cutting and general lawn care 🌱
* Hedge trimming and shaping ✂️
* Weeding and garden tidying
* Refreshing flower beds with low-maintenance planting schemes
* Installing plum slate and decorative finishes to improve appearance and reduce upkeep (photos to follow!)

We’ve also been out providing quotes for upcoming jobs, helping customers plan and price their garden improvements for the weeks ahead.

📅 We are now fully booked until mid June, so thank you to everyone who has got in touch and secured a slot with us.

It’s been a great week seeing gardens start to transform, and we’re looking forward to sharing some before-and-after photos very soon.
