An impressive 1,870m of specialist predator fencing for RSPB, installed across challenging and varied ground conditions.
The system combines Delta steel and chestnut posts, with additional buried mesh creating up to 1.6m of below ground protection in the most vulnerable areas, where softer and wetter ground can make digging underneath the fence easier. This project also features a custom made culvert gate, internal electric wire to prevent cattle rubbing against it, and a specialist gate with an anti - dig ladder system!
A substantial and bespoke installation designed around the landscape and built for long term protection. 👏
