​Why do customers get to leave us reviews, but we can't rate them back?! 🤯

​Imagine an app where tradesmen can score clients out of 10 before we even accept the job. We need to know what we are walking into!

​Here is the official 5-Star Rating Criteria:

💰 The Basics: Did they actually pay the invoice on time?

😡 Reliability: Are they serial last-minute cancellers?

☕️ Hospitality: How many cups of tea were offered per hour?

🥓 BONUS POINTS: Did they produce a bacon sarnie for the boys at breakfast?!

Payment Due on Receipt! ⏱️

​You run your business your way, and I’ll run mine! My terms and conditions are clear from the start: payment is due upon receipt. So, when another business tells me they only pay every 30 days... nah, that's not how this works. Tradesmen shouldn't have to chase their hard-earned cash or be dictated to on payment terms.

Museum Piece 🕰️⚡️

​When the customer says “the electrics are a bit vintage” but you didn’t realise you were stepping back into the 1950s!

​Opened up this wooden box today to find an absolute museum piece. Those old ceramic rewirable fuses and rubber cables belong in an antique shop, not powering a modern home! 🤯

​Safe to say, this "vintage charm" is getting ripped out and replaced with a proper, modern consumer unit by the Voltage Electrical team.

Absolute MADNESS under the floorboards today. 🤯🏚️

​You think you’ve seen it all, and then you stumble into an electrical museum. We're talking ancient lead-sheathed cables, completely degraded cloth insulation, and the kicker? Some of this was genuinely STILL IN USE. ⚡️💀

​The face at the end says it all. Time to rip this out and bring this property into the 21st century before it goes up in smoke!

Called out to do some electrical work, ended up on a wildlife rescue mission! ⚡️🐦

​Found this little mate stuck inside the house today. I managed to safely catch him and bring him outside, but then he decided my work glove was too comfortable to leave!

​Guess I'm adding "Dr. Dolittle" to my CV. Just another day on the job for the Voltage Electrical team! 😂
