Should fitted wardrobes be fitted on top of carpet?

We can do either, but wherever possible we recommend fitting wardrobes onto a solid floor and having the carpet fitted afterwards.

This provides a more stable base and a neater finish.

Here’s a recent installation fitted directly onto the floor before the carpet was laid.
