We’re very proud to be heavyweight sponsors of our local Boxing academy, Apex Boxing Academy which is managed by a very good childhood friend of ours Kyle Rayner. Kyle dedicates his time to coaching the youth of the Isle of Sheppey and keeping them off the streets in the pursuit of a career in Boxing, with the help from ourselves and others he is able to keep the Gym affordable and accessible for everyone, as well as make sure the gym has the latest most up to date equipment available.

Who knows, maybe we have the next Heavyweight champion in waiting here on the isle of Sheppey, one thing is for sure, if there’s potential within someone, My mate Mr Rayner will definitely find it! Kyle Rayner

BH Drilling services LTD are recruiting, we are looking for experienced shell and auger and rotary lead drillers to join our company, or even an already established drilling team.

The order books for 2026 are filling up fast, and there looks to be some huge projects lined up for later in the year, which will tie up most of our resources.

We have full sized rigs, cut down rigs and tracked rigs sat waiting to used, we just need the right drillers to use them!

If you think you have what it takes to join the fastest growing CP drilling company in the UK then please apply asap.

We’re looking for experienced NVQ level 2 or above lead drillers, must have clean driving license, all other certification and training can be provided.

Southern based applicants preferred, but all drillers considered from further afield in the UK.

Here’s lead driller Nick Hayles carrying out an SPT at 60m on a site at the British Library in London. The hole was drilled using 12”,10”,8” & 6” casing.

Nick only achieved his NVQ level 2 as a lead driller just over a year ago and is already reaching depths that other drillers simply couldn’t even attempt

Just goes to show that if you’re taught well and you’re willing to learn, those deeper holes are not as daunting as you might think….. also helps having a Dando 175.

With the arrival of our comacchio 205 rotary rig on the horizon, we are now recruiting!

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic lead driller to join our growing team.

Applicants would preferably be based in the the south east, but we’d be willing to take on the right people from further afield.

Applicants must have CSCS, NVQ level 2 and a clean driving license as a minimum. Further training can and will be provided.

Louis and Mark carrying out 25m boreholes within the former House of Fraser store in Bluewater Shopping Centre.

Floor level was cored out in 300mm diameter core using our Hilti coring gear and then Electric cutdown rig being used on this job in order to eliminate any fumes and minimise the noise levels. Casing diameters starting in 200mm and finishing in 150mm, with 50mm standpipes being installed upon completion.

Extra efforts being used to minimise mess on this job with our sheave wheels gaurd, visqueen sheeting and sleeper bunding, given that the geology is wet sands and clays over wet chalk the boys have certainly got their work cut out!
