Kitchen & Project Installation

25/09/2026

It’s been a while but this project has been worth the wait.!

Gavin and Gabi opted to use Wren as their choice of vendor for their kitchen. The style is called True Handleless which is a style driven from the German bespoke kitchen. The colour scheme was important to them; wanting the kitchen to remain “warm” whilst being sleek and stylish in design.

Stepping back, the project needed the expertise of Dave Sayer from DNA Electrical and Andrew Coyne from AJC Plastering. Whilst we, Antony Payne and I completed the remaining needs for the kitchen. In this instance additional plumbing, new radiators being installed, decorating and a new floor being laid throughout the kitchen, utility room and hallway. Many thanks as always to STS Flooring for delivering and supplying the materials

The transformation is unreal and a great use of the products available from Wren Kitchens. We 💙 the matching splashback wrapped up the walls and cladding the window nearby the sink - though you’ll note that we’ve protected the surface behind the hob with a glass splashback.

What’s your thoughts..? If you’re considering a new kitchen and are interested in using Wren or another vendor - pls reach out before and we’ll be able to help with our trade discounts 💙👍🏻💙

Please share, like and comment on the post. Hey you can also like the page and keep upto date with the projects we have planned.

Time to share photos of the latest project completed with Antony Payne

This saw us installing a new kitchen with compact laminate worktops. The customers; Mark and Marlow chose to use Benchmarx as their preferred kitchen vendor after visiting all the options available.

Mark Harrington Benchmarx Kitchens Trade designed the kitchen around their desire to house a few appliances within a rather compact kitchen.

The compact laminate worktops offer a sleek design that allows the panels to be used behind the cooker and as a wall covering meaning a great transition from worktop to wall covering. Another benefit is that you’re able to install an undermount sink.

A bespoke shelving unit was made using tower & decor panels and allowing some great additional storage.

Under counter lighting was introduced - allowing the worktop to be highlighted furthermore when used.

We hope you agree that the final outcome is amazing and another great, successful project.

The latest completed project by the team.

This time the customer opted for the sage green shaker door with wood grain effect from Benchmarx Kitchens Trade

The normal process was followed with Mark Harrington popping out to complete the initial consultation with Chris and John.

Once the design was signed off I also popped out several times to sign off choices around the flooring and worktop styles.

The customer opted to remove their old kitchen prior to the installation starting.

The installation went very well with bespoke cupboards being factored into the process. Finally the kitchen was elevated by the installation of the quartz worktop. As always a special thank you to the boys from Albritish Stone Worktops

I’m sure you’ll agree the finished article is outstanding. I had my own reservations around tiling on top of the upstands but was delighted with the finish.

There’s always an element of pressure in every project we install, of course we strive to deliver our best but that only gets amplified when working for family lol

The latest project saw us doing just that.! Completing a small kitchen in maidstone for my Auntie.!

With the careful guidance and planning from Mark Harrington from Benchmarx Kitchens Trade they agreed a design which best suited the kitchen and Mary’s wishes.

A small amount of plumbing prior to the skills of Andrew Coyne plastering the ceiling and walls and the decorating the room following the process and order we have.

The installation went well and then invited Albritish Stone Worktops to template the project. Mary opted for a bold pattern of quartz making the stone a stand out feature within the room. With an undermount sink giving the room more worktop space when needed and the feel of it being larger as you omit the draining board element within the appearance.

Adding mechanical extraction to the room compiles with new regulations and helps with ducting the steam and vapour from cooking.

Overall a great transformation 🩷

What a project.?!

We had previously installed a project for both Paul and Karen Lander and was trusted again to bring their vision to life in their new home.

So much work & planning was needed prior to even considering installing the kitchen. The photos will show that the room was an office to start with.!! With the vision the internal wall was removed opening up the back of the property firstly, then what was new windows installed were changed to allow the kitchen to flow around the room and locate the sink at the desired place.

New routes for the plumbing and waste were installed and then a new screeded floor was installed with stick down LVT installed throughout the now kitchen and diner.

Then came our part. The plan was made with Mark Harrington @ Benchmarx Kitchens Trade using the Sherwood driftwood blue door. This compliments the ascetics of the property but equally modernise the room. Elevating furthermore with the services from Albritish Stone Worktops. Choosing white sparkle worktops in 30mm allows the natural sunlight to catch the worktop and give off a lovely subtle reflection.

An amazing transformation and all in time for Easter firstly, but hopefully for a long hot summer of entertaining (and watching the World Cup)

Many thanks to Paul and Karen for trusting us again and we look forward to completing the ulility room in due course.

Happy Easter everyone & please hit that share button and leave a comment

Booking for late summer now so please get in touch if you’re considering a new kitchen, bathroom or any internal project

Another project completed. Antony Payne and I found ourselves this time in Kingshill. The project involved both the downstairs toilet and the kitchen. Then evolved into new flooring throughout the downstairs and new doors, handles etc installed throughout the home.

We collaborated with a new electrical firm on this one (I’m so sorry DNA Electrical)

The process, like many before involved the brilliant Mark Harrington Benchmarx Kitchens Trade. Mark, along with Paul and Tara came up with a design that suited their needs and wants for their new kitchen. We used the ever trusting Albritish Stone Worktops for the quartz and as always Luli and his team delivered excellence at such great prices. Andrew Coyne - the plastering division of the team completed the skimming of the ceiling and the walls - thank you as always.

As I mentioned before - we were due to install stick down LVT in the kitchen alone but after many discussions it was decided to install it through the downstairs of the home. Using another trusted supplier STS Flooring they opted for the fusion floor ike pavilion oak grey. The process included installing upwards of 20 bags of self levelling material before the installation.

The downstairs toilet needing some love. A simple rip out, small amount of work to allow a back to the wall toilet install and then tile the entire room. Using yet another trusted supplier; Brad and his team at Stonewater Bathrooms provided the goods to bring the room to life.

Finally, selecting the doors and furniture from Howdens new fire doors were installed from top to bottom in the home. Many thanks to Gav for completing this part of the project.

Many thanks to Tara and Paul, with a special mention to Bailey the family dog. We appreciate the upheaval you went through but it was so worth it in the end. We hope you enjoy the home for years to come.
