🏗️ Behind the scenes | Outbuilding progress

A little look at what’s been happening on site as work continues on this contemporary outbuilding.

With the main structure taking shape, attention is turning to the surrounding groundwork, external areas and additional structural elements.

There’s still plenty to be done, but it’s great to see the progress being made as the different stages of construction come together.

🌿 An outbuilding designed to blend with its surroundings.

A look at one of our outbuilding projects currently taking shape!

Featuring a living green roof, dark timber cladding and large glazed openings, this contemporary design combines natural materials with modern architectural features.

The living roof is a particularly interesting element, helping the building sit naturally within its surroundings while creating a striking finish.

We’re looking forward to sharing more as the project progresses!

A first look at one of our latest projects 🏊‍♂️

This impressive glulam structure will be home to an indoor swimming pool, golf simulator and entertainment area — and with just 8 weeks to go until completion, it’s really starting to come together.

First up, a look at the swimming pool. The curved timber beams and rooflights are a real feature of the space, bringing in plenty of natural light throughout the pool area.

We’ll be sharing more of this project over the next few weeks, including a closer look at the golf simulator and entertainment space 👀

Meet Holly, our organised and methodical Project Manager at Cookham Design Partnership.

Holly oversees the design process from those first initial enquiries right through to Permitted Development and Planning Applications. With experience across site surveys, concept design and planning drawings, she works closely with both our clients and planners to keep projects moving smoothly.

She’s also the one keeping us in check when it comes to all things Health & Safety at CDP!
