We don’t really do weekends… but this was an easy exception 👌

We spent the day at Grand Designs Live at the NEC, representing Heat Geek in the Vaillant Design Studio.

A great day chatting all things heat pumps, low-temperature heating and home efficiency with people renovating and building homes looking at making the switch.

Brilliant to be representing Heat Geek alongside Vaillant at one of the biggest home improvement shows in the country. 🔥⚡️

No drama. No major upheaval. No replacing every radiator.

Simple Zero Disrution Heat Geek install earlier this week.

✅ Existing radiators already suitable
✅ Existing hot water cylinder
✅ Gas boiler removed

Another heat pump completed ✔️

This one was a little bit special...

🔹 Vaillant aroTHERM plus 7kW
🔹 Morfield Heating's very first of the new plus range
🔹 Purpose-built external plant room for the hot water cylinder
🔹 3 radiators upgraded to suit low temperature heating

Not every home has the space for an indoor cylinder, but with a bit of planning there's almost always a solution. Building an external plant room kept everything neat, accessible and freed up valuable space inside the property.

The goal has always stayed the same: efficient, comfortable heating systems that perform exactly as they should.

Another heating system future-proofed. 👌

This installation included:

✅ New 12kW air source heat pump
✅ New primary pipework throughout
✅ Replacement unvented hot water cylinder
✅ 1 Radiator upgrade

A successful heat pump installation isn't just about sizing the outdoor unit. Correct pipe sizing, a well-designed primary circuit, suitable emitters and the right cylinder all play a part in achieving an efficient, reliable system.

Every property is different, which is why we design each system around the home rather than fitting a one-size-fits-all solution.
