In this latest instalment, our Business Information Systems Manager, Laura, shares what she’s particularly looking forward to about the move — the new technology and hardware being introduced into our boardrooms. 💻🏢

We’re taking a different approach to our meeting room technology, with new hardware designed to make meetings easier to run, improve collaboration and support remote working.

New Case Study | Solar PV & Battery Storage in Newtownabbey ☀️🔋

We’re pleased to share a closer look at a solar PV and battery storage installation in Newtownabbey, featuring a Sunsynk hybrid inverter and battery storage system.

This project showcases how combining solar PV with battery storage can help homeowners make better use of the renewable electricity they generate.

The system includes:
• 16 solar panels (7kW solar PV system)
• 3.68kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter
• 3 × 5.32kWh Sunsynk batteries
• Approximately 16kWh of battery storage

🌟 New Build Series – A Vision for the Future 🌟

As our new headquarters takes shape, one of the biggest considerations from the outset was how we could create a modern facility for the future while respecting and incorporating what was already part of the site.

In this reel, our Managing Director Carlus McWilliams talks about two of the key considerations behind the project — incorporating the existing Granny’s House into the plans and making the most of the incredible views across Slieve Gallion. 🌿🏢

Rather than simply starting from scratch, the aim was to create a development that worked with the existing site, bringing the different elements together while creating a modern, practical space for our team.

And with Slieve Gallion providing such a spectacular backdrop, making the most of those views was always going to be an important part of the design.

🌟 New Build Series – Bringing It All Together 🌟

As our new headquarters gets closer to completion, we’re continuing our New Build Series with a look at some of the features that make the building unique.

In this reel, we hear from Fergal Rainey of McGurk Architects, who reflects on the design of the project and the challenge of bringing together the different elements of the site.

The new headquarters sits alongside the existing house, warehouse and workshop, and one of the key challenges was creating a design that connected all of these spaces while still feeling cohesive and considered.

Fergal talks about how pleased he is with the way the different elements have come together, creating a natural flow throughout the building, while making the most of the brightness, connections and views across the surrounding landscape. 🌿🏢

It’s fantastic to see how the original vision for the site has translated into a modern, connected space that works alongside what was already there.
