Job Overview
The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for new electrical installations, while maintaining electrical plant in a busy industrial environment, including the duties below;
General Responsibilities and Duties;
• Installation of Containment services including Cable Tray, Basket and Conduit.
• Power and Control Cabling Installation and Termination
• Carrying out testing and fault finding
• Work in a team to carry out planned Maintenance on a time schedule
• Carry out quick repairs where possible to keep production lines going.
• Compliant with all Current Electrical Regulations
• Operate within all company and professional Health & Safety guidelines
• Attending staff training sessions as necessary
• Adhering to company policies and procedures
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by Directors or Management
Essential Criteria
• Valid CSR Card or NVQ equivalent
• All relevant Electrical Certifications
• Full drivers licence
• Experience of electrical testing and fault finding
• Flexibility to handle callouts on a rotational Basis
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible work approach
Desirable Criteria- Preference may be given to applicants who can demonstrate;
• 5 Years’ Experience within Industrial Process Plant
• Additional relevant and specific qualifications
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Schedule:
Day Shift - 5 days a week 7am to 5pm Monday - Saturday
Night Shift - 4/5 nights out of 7, to be agreed with the successful applicant
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
