Re-occurring blocked drain for a lady in Lytham. She was fed up with paying the same company to constantly unblock it. After giving us a call, we cleared the blockage and conducted a CCTV survey inspection on her drains to find a severe defect in the pipe which was the cause of the re-occurring blockage.
The Solution
Unfortunately, the only option the customer had in this situation was excavation. Permission to proceed was given. Location equipment used to locate the defect above ground to pin point area for excavation. Ground was excavated and the pipe was located and exposed. The pipework was cut and the affected pipe work was removed. New pipework was fitted to allow drains to flow 100% again. The pipe was laid on 10mm p gravel and the ground was reinstated to its original state.
The Conclusion
The customer over the moon with the work conducted, finally has the peace of mind of knowing her toilet won’t block up again. To reassure our customers even more, all of our drain repairs in Lytham come with 12 months of free unblocking if a blockage occurs due to our repair works. The lovely lady can now live her life knowing her toilet won’t be blocking up again any time soon.
