Is your lawn looking brown and parched after the summer drought? Don’t panic : brown grass is often dormant, not dead. With returning rain and a little patience, your lawn may be ready for a comeback. 🌿
🌧️ Wait until the soil has cooled and had time to moisten before doing too much.
✅ Raise your mower blades and avoid scalping stressed grass.
🍂 Gently rake out excess thatch and clearly dead patches to improve airflow.
🌱 In early September, apply a light feed : avoid overdoing it while the lawn is recovering.
🌾 Once conditions are consistently moist, overseed any genuinely bare patches and keep them gently watered.
Every lawn recovers at its own pace, so don’t be tempted to rush it. If your garden needs a helping hand after the dry weather, Garden Elf is here to help. Send us a WhatsApp on 07482273669. 💚
