November is filling up! 🌳

RH Tree Care is now almost fully booked for November, with only a handful of dates remaining.

I’m now taking bookings for December, so if you’ve been putting off any tree work, hedge cutting, clearance, fencing or general grounds maintenance, now is a great time to get it booked in before Christmas.

📩 Message the page or contact Rick directly for a free, no-obligation quotation.

And finally, a massive thank you to all my customers. RH Tree Care genuinely wouldn’t be where it is today without your continued support, recommendations and repeat business.

Thank you! 🌳

🌳 What a difference a fence makes! 🌳

Another new closed-board fence completed, and this garden has been completely transformed. 👌

The old open picket-style fencing left the garden feeling exposed and allowed the surrounding properties and gardens to dominate the view. The new closed-board fencing creates a much cleaner, more private and defined space.

💚 Why choose closed board over traditional palisade fencing?

✔️ Much more privacy – solid boards give you a proper screen from neighbouring gardens and paths.
✔️ A cleaner, more modern finish – simple, smart and works with almost any garden.
✔️ More sheltered – helps create a more enclosed garden and can reduce wind coming through the boundary.
✔️ Makes the garden feel more private and usable – giving you a proper outdoor space rather than feeling like you’re on display.
✔️ Great backdrop for landscaping – the clean timber finish makes lawns, planting, patios and garden features stand out.

And this is a great example of how you don’t always need an elaborate landscaping project to completely change a garden. Sometimes, replacing tired or unsuitable fencing with a well-built boundary is enough to make the whole space feel different.

From a tired, open boundary ➡️ to a clean, private and much more defined garden. 🌿

Thinking about replacing your fencing or giving your garden a bit of a facelift?

🌳 Storm-Damaged Magnolia Removal & Stump Grinding 🌳

This beautiful magnolia had unfortunately suffered significant storm damage, making it unsafe to leave standing. We safely dismantled the tree, removed all arisings from site, and finished the job by grinding out the stump, leaving the area ready for replanting, landscaping, or simply enjoying the extra space.

No job is too big or too small – whether it’s storm damage, dangerous trees, stump grinding, hedge work, or general tree maintenance, we’re here to help.

Storms don’t just “happen” to trees — damage is often preventable with the right care.

Deadwood, weak branch structure, and overgrown limbs can turn into serious hazards when high winds roll through. Regular pruning and maintenance not only protects your property, but it also helps your trees stay healthy, strong, and standing for years to come.

A well-maintained tree is safer, lives longer, and looks better doing it.

If your trees haven’t been looked at in a while, now’s the time — before the next storm makes the decision for you.

Shame to see this mature oak in Burley come down, but unfortunately it had been infected with Ganoderma, which was causing significant internal decay. With the structural integrity compromised, it had become unsafe to leave standing.

Not a decision taken lightly, but safety always has to come first. Another one safely dismantled by the team 🌳🪵
