Budleigh Salterton's war memorial receiving a very effective steam clean today. From the top of the cross to the base, every inch was cleaned and all the raised lead lettering repainted. It's amazing the results that can be achieved without the use of chemicals or abrasive scrubbing.

Something a little different with this memorial we've done for book lovers. instead of a shaped book we've tapered the edges and followed the engraving around the sides of the memorial to create a more 3-dimensional book effect. Finished with 3D coloured roses at the top of the memorial.

As the memorial is in a Cemetery we were allowed to use Polished black granite which is one of the hardest-wearing finishes so it will remain looking good for years to come
