Some of my clients have suggested I might like to bring my dog Hazel when I tend to their gardens but every time she’s in our own garden her idea of being helpful is to sit in the exact spot where I’m trying to work…plus I wouldn’t fit her in the bike!

Happy 100th birthday to Sir David Attenborough. The series Secret Garden about the wildlife living in our gardens is fantastic.

David Attenborough reveals the lives of kingfishers, otters and other animals whose home is a river garden. Life here seems idyllic, but all are at the mercy of seasonal floods.

I’ve seen some friendly Robins in Sway but this one comes and perches very close to me, waits for me to do some weeding, then hops over and eats all the worms!

A beautiful day for myself and Tori to get back to work ☀️🌺🪴 our favourite jobs of today included scraping moss off a tiled path (super satisfying) pulling up bulb and bulb of wild garlic that had taken over a bed and reshaping this border. 🌼
