We enjoyed a lovely visit to in Sway & the Artful Collective exhibition for Hampshire Open Studios this morning, and we purchased a delightful fruit/cheese platter created by the Lyndhurst-based potter and ceramicist Mike Braisher.

“Stumped”. Acrylics on 12”x12” canvas. The aftermath of the wildfires has left many ancient trees including this old oak burnt to stumps. There’s an acrid smell and ash everywhere. This, amongst other horrific fire damage to wildlife, flora and fauna, over a massive area of our beautiful New Forest. It’s hurting. Much will regrow …over time. A very long time.
