Last night's attempt at speed sketching at least resulted in some vaguely recognisable wee beasties! With thanks to Art Safari & Claudia Myatt Illustration & Clare from Suffolk Wildlife Trust for the wonderful images. I just wish I could have done them more justice! I think I like the triple toad image best!

Speed Sketch Week 2: I probably should have worked quite a bit more on these before sharing (šŸ«£)! I used the wrong medium (oil pastels) for creating any ā€˜fineā€™ detail and wonā€™t make that mistake again!
I simply canā€™t keep up fully with the session yet. And I definitely canā€™t draw AND listen to any of the interesting chat throughout the session! šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜‚

I am so happy to have found my ā€˜tribeā€™ at Art Safari. Itā€™s a joy. Loads of opportunities both at their base in Woodbridge, abroad on their many and varied art safaris, or virtual workshops and speed sketching over Zoom. Fantastic.

A lovely exhibition of the works of Sven Berlin St Barbe Museum + Art Gallery. Catch it if you can.

A bigger version of the waterfall painting I did yesterday, using acrylics on canvas instead of watercolours.
