Made here, in our Forest of Dean workshop.

Every Mindful Design kitchen and piece of fitted furniture is made to order in our workshop, combining traditional cabinetmaking with modern CNC technology.

Working from birch plywood and carefully selected materials, we manufacture each project individually — from the first cut through to assembly, finishing and installation.

We also work collaboratively with architects, interior designers and main contractors, developing bespoke cabinetry from initial concepts and drawings through to manufacture and installation.

Keeping production in-house gives us greater control over the details, quality and finish, while allowing us to adapt each project to the space it has been designed for.

Bespoke means more than made to measure.

Whether we're designing a kitchen, fitted wardrobes, a home study or a completely individual piece of cabinetry, every project begins with the same thing — understanding how you want the space to work.

From the first designs through to making each cabinet in our Forest of Dean workshop, every project is individually considered. Proportions, materials, storage, finishes and the smallest details are all designed around the home and the people who live there.

It means we're not working from a catalogue of standard units or predetermined combinations. We're creating something specifically for your space.

We design and make bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture for homes across Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, the Cotswolds and Bristol.

A recent ‘supply only’ kitchen commission in the heart of the Forest of Dean.

After 20+ years with their previous kitchen, our clients were ready for a change — with making the most of the storage and every inch of this compact space at the heart of the design.

Working closely together on the layout, we created a kitchen that feels considered, practical and completely tailored to the way they use the space.
