2 rebated door sets replaced with new double glazed doors on this village hall. Existing doors had severe signs of rot which had also affected the flooring beneath the cill on one. Rotten timbers were removed and existing treated with wet rot wood hardener and Sikagard 5 star wood treatment. New support members and flooring was installed, the frames repaired and a new hardwood cill installed. Existing door hardware was reused and doors were hung using new 4 inch stainless ball bearing hinges with rain deflectors installed to shed water correctly. The doors were treated with preservative and given 3 coats of primer undercoat ready for decorators.

Moisture resistant mdf shaker style wainscoting with back boards and V relief detail to match Howdens Burford internal doors, ovolo profile skirting.
Box newels made using MR MDF to clad existing 70mm newel posts, oak handrail and pyramid caps with stop chamfered spindles.
Oak finished with Osmo oil
Woodwork finished with isomat Isolac aqua satin white.
