What a week this week has been!
Managed to complete 2 full bedroom redecorations plus finish this beautiful holiday retreat in Martham.
This job has been ongoing for a while and was built by Matt & his team (East Anglia Renovations LTD)
Being over 1/4 mile away from the nearest car park, I had to trolley everything in.. which if nothing else has kept me fit!
I had to use some specialised fire retardant varnish on the ceiling panels, which turned out to be a challenge due to the extreme heat we had at that time.
Nice to see it finally finished and the customer enjoying a well deserved break. 👌

What should have been a simple job turned into a last minute headache!
Delays with the paint meant this straight forward colour change to the underside and ceiling area ended up being done the day before the big event.. Then to put the icing on the cake.. it chucked it down at various intervals!
Luckily the only thing that got wet was me.
The Black Silicone Masonry really finishes this outstanding games room off a treat 👌

Oil based gloss was used on 99% of all jobs 30+ years ago when I first picked up a brush..
Even though it’s different now to how it used to be, you still get a far superior gloss finish with oil based gloss.. of course.. only if do your preparation correctly!
Enjoyed doing this old front door a few weeks back.
