• Experience in window & door installation
• Knowledge of installing fascia & soffits
• Reliable, professional, and able to work to a high standard
• Must be able to drive and have a full UK driving license

🪟 Misted or Failed Sealed Units? Here's The Right Way to Repair Them 🔧

The sealed unit shown in these pictures has completely broken down. You can also see that gaffe tape has been used around the edges to protect the glass.
In our opinion, this is the wrong material to use. Gaffa tape can trap moisture around the edge of the unit, and over time that moisture collects and contributes to the sealed unit breaking down even faster.

❌Moisture can collect in standard tape
❌This can damage the edge of the sealed unit
❌Leads to misting, condensation and failure

For this reason, we work with a local specialist glass supplier (RBD Glass Ltd) who prepares the sealed units correctly using aluminium foil protection, and trim everything back so once installed there are no areas where water or moisture can sit.
