The dreaded Boilermate.
This old system had a mind of its own after the PCB in the Boilermate thermal store developed a fault.
Upgraded to a combi boiler, small radiator in place of the massive thermal store in the airing cupboard freeing up a ton of space and keeping the heat in for drying clothes.

Kept things in a tight budget for my sister, installing the Glow-worm Micracom with 5 years parts and labour warranty, with a full Powerflush and Hive heating controls

Love an upgrade.
Vented to unvented, huge improvement on hot water pressure for those showers, balanced cold water, 2 port zone control, new heating and hot water controls and big tidy up on pipework.
Complete installation and wiring done myself.

Back in November I sorted out this wet room that was incorrectly installed by a building company and didn’t drain properly.
This had been installed level with the entire floor surface, with no wet room tray fitted underneath, so the bathroom would just flood.
We decided on installing a quadrant shower tray and screen to solve the problem once and for all!
