Quiet on socials… but busy on site 💪

We’ve been working flat out behind the scenes getting projects completed in time for the festive period, which is why it’s been a little quiet on here lately.

We can now share this recently completed bathroom renovation in Kessingland. The room was fully redesigned, including the construction of stud walls to conceal existing pipework, helping to create a much cleaner finish and making the space feel more open and spacious.

Everything was completed under one company, with all trades taken care of in-house – plumbing, heating, electrics, plastering, carpentry, painting and more – ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.
We’d like to wish all our existing and new customers a Happy New Year 🎉

We recently completed a full system conversion, upgrading this home from a conventional setup to a modern combi boiler. After a slight relocation, Our team took care of everything that came with it — from chasing out and upgrading the gas main to removing old pipework in the airing cupboard to create more storage. All areas were made good, plastered, painted, (ready for a second coat) and finished with external brickwork for a clean, high-quality result 👌

We have wrapped up this garden renovation this week, and what started out as helping a mate relay a couple of loose slabs, turned into lifting 60 square meters and relaying the lot 😂😂

These slabs had failed , the sub base was basically soil and all the pointing had deteriorated over time making the slabs loose and unsafe

Once we took it up we quickly figured out why it has failed

We dug out 2 tonne of soil and ended up putting 7 tonne of crush back before levelling and compacting that down on top of some membrane

We then ran edgings around the perimeter to tidy up the cuts and lock everything in

We then began laying the existing sandstone after cleaning them all up to save some money for our customer as most of them came up pretty good

We removed the make shift step which was ready to cave in , and made a nice brick built double step and finished it with some slabs

We laid these on full beds and slurry primed every single one of them to ensure they last longer than before

Everything was then pointed up with colour match easy grout and it came up lovely

We have enjoyed doing this and still have a little to learn in this area and this wasn’t as straight forward as we first thought , as half of the top end of the garden which was laid really bad stayed down due to customer preference, there are a few cross joints in the mix but we could only work with what we had, overall everyone is over the moon ⭐️

EN-SUITE RENOVATION completed in Carlton Colville ⭐️

We had already undertaken a lot of the renovations in our repeat customers house and we were now tasked with 2 x en-suites to complete.

En-suite number 1 was on the top floor, and the size of the room and current layout had some challenges so we designed a few layouts, and mentioned about stepping the stud wall back and this was by far the best outcome.

We removed the suite and relocated the plumbing and electrics before knocking down and rebuilding the wall to maximise the space to manoeuvre and increase the wet room size overall

The room was boarded and tanked with wedi and waterproofing, the former was installed and primed ready for tiling.

We installed a pocket door rather than the traditional one which was originally awkward to get through due to how it opened, to maximise the space

The ceiling and remaining walls were plastered and painted

We then build a return shower wall not only to house the shower controls , but to include 2 x led niches, the reason behind the acoustic panelling not only makes it look timeless but ensures we can get full access behind everything that will need maintenance in the future

Once tiled and grouted the toilet , sink , shower and mirror were installed alongside the towel rail

Everything from start to finish was organised and completed under one company to ensure the best possible finish ☑️

This is another great en-suite to add to a catalogue of renovations we have undertaken

Bedroom renovation completed at one of our ongoing projects in Lowestoft

As all the other rooms, this came with a lot of challenges however we managed to overcome them and restore this master bedroom to a high standard

After all the electrics and plumbing was first fixed and tested , we insulated and boarded the ceiling before plastering.

Once painted everything was added to finish the room ready for to fit the carpets ⭐️

On to the last room before we hand over this beautiful property, keep your eyes out for the photos of the results

Extension project has come on a fair bit recently , warm roof has been fully fitted and EDPM on , floor has been celotexed , underfloor heating installed and tested and then screeded up to damp ready for the knock through.

There is still a nice size garden with a seating / play area for the kids

Could not have done it without all the hard work and the help of some really good mates along the way working along side our business to push the project along and extend there knowledge and advice always there at the drop of a hat and can’t do enough for us , for working all hours under the sun to get it built and Gary chase for helping us set up and give us a few hints and tips for the floor screed.

Now for all the fun to start … 😂😂😂

Kitchen refurb completed this week in *BECCLES*

Full refit for a good friend of ours , once she had the plans and the kitchen was ordered the plan was in full motion

We stripped out everything and latexed the floor and plastered where required due to no tiles being fitted for splashbacks we needed a good finish throughout.

We then laid the LVT flooring and fitted new skirting, the radiator was then removed and the room fully painted.

The kitchen was then fitted and we managed to include extra worktop space that used to be hidden

We fitted the appliances and tested full working order

All the finishing touches were done and the splash backs and window boards fitted along with handles and plinths

We updated the sockets and lights to add character to the room, and of course holly added her touch to the shelving 🌟

Our latest en-suite transformation fully completed by our team at

We had no idea before we removed the self build vanity unit how much of the stairs were present in the bathroom.

The design layout was carefully measured and even with the stairs encroaching a little, we decided to build a bespoke vanity unit to suit the requirements (if I can think it Jimmy can build it 😂)

After the bathroom was fully ripped out and floors carefully taken up we began the electrical and plumbing first fix (all being done to regs) we then tested and insulated the floor and walls ready to close up with wedi board.

The ceiling was then boarded and then plastered and once cured was painted with anti mould paint

We then built a shower plinth due to the joist positions meaning we couldn’t get our waste to sit flush but we still managed to keep it low to the ground and it was finished nicely.

Due to our workload we have had some help from trusted traders on a few projects and daz fully tiled this one for us and grouted it up so we could get other bits done in the meantime.

Once fully grouted the unit was built , the shower was fitted , the sink , toilet , radiator and mirror were fitted and the led lighting were installed alongside a silent extract fan.

Another quality install by the team under some challenging conditions

We also called in a favour from Matt to tidy up the existing door (one of the best painters out there) which really completed the transformation
