Just a quick update for all of our customers.
Over the next few days, responses from Hammersley Contractors may be a little slower than usual.
Sadly, we lost my father-in-law last week, and my mum has since undergone emergency surgery, so I need to take a few days to be with my family.
If you're currently waiting for a quotation, please bear with me. I'll get these completed and sent out as soon as I'm back. I'll also be keeping an eye on messages and will reply as soon as I can.

Another bungalow transformed by the Hammersley Contractors team.
This project involved the installation of a complete External Wall Insulation (EWI) system, designed to improve both the appearance and energy efficiency of the property.
The build-up consisted of:
Existing rendered wall.
Breathable membrane installed to protect the structure while allowing moisture vapour to escape.
EcoTherm rigid insulation boards fixed to the external walls.
Treated timber batten system.
Low-maintenance horizontal cladding with matching trims.
The finished result is a modern, weather-resistant exterior with significantly improved thermal performance and reduced maintenance requirements.

🏗️ HOLLY BARN UPDATE 🏗️
Holly Barn garage and annex are coming on nicely! 💪
Even with the temperatures soaring, the lads are cracking on and producing quality work as always. From the blockwork and structural steel to the internal studwork and insulation, it's all starting to take shape.
We're big fans of modern Hybris insulation. 🚀 It creates a high-performance thermal envelope, is cleaner and quicker to install than traditional rigid PIR boards, and on many of our projects works out more cost-effective overall once labour is taken into account. Less cutting, less waste, and a fantastic finish. 👌
Massive credit to the team for keeping the standards high despite the heat. Plenty more progress to come over the next few weeks—watch this space!
