Another successful approved contractor assessment yesterday, I’ve also meet the incoming EAS competence requirements meaning all installation work in specified areas and, all eicrs must be carried out by skilled installers/testers with current qualifications. This is a must as it’s about time hard working people get the correct skilled people to carry out the work. A long overdue change is on the way.

Happy to have completed another successful assessment this week. Pleasing feedback from my assessor with regards design and attention to detail. A range of commercial, domestic and inspection and testing (EICRs)viewed during assessment. Many thanks to all who allowed us access during these covid times.

Another busy start to the new year. Finally getting up to say with the PRS EICRs this week, lighting upgrade at a local school, and starting 2 large sized rewires. As well as other jobs in between. Enjoyable job at Louth Museum updating cabinet lighting, getting ready to welcome back visitors soon.

That’s tools down for another year in what’s been a shocker for everybody. Business has ticked over nicely all things considered. Start of the year finishing off some large new builds. An absolute pleasure to be asked to install the electrical systems at Roddens and Coopers new premises during the summer. Then towards the end of the year various EICRs in the PRS. As well as spinning numerous plates in between. Thanks also to Ellery Cox and Greg Carter for their help. Hope everybody can make the most of Xmas and new year as best as they can.
