I don’t like carrying a bucket or tray of manky water out of a loft and down a ladder. So when I get the chance I extend the condensate pipe and pop a rodding point under the drain off. Then all the dirt water goes on a nice ride down the goo flume.
Also it’s really satisfying

Ok fine, nails made sense about a million years ago. Shakespeare didn’t own an impact driver. But…what about nowadays. Getting floorboards up that are fixed with nails is a massive pain in the ball socket. I remove them and replace them with nice brass screws. But are you the sort of crazy mentalist that re-uses them? Why?!?
